Workers have restored 8,000 feet of the Butano Creek stream channel in southern San Mateo County. It was the largest and most ambitious project in a decades long effort to stop chronic flooding, bring back endangered fish and restore degraded wetlands at Pescadero Marsh Natural Preserve.
